Account Strategist

Engaged Marketing Company is seeking an Account Strategist to join an empowered team of marketers handling cross-channel content marketing campaigns for bridal businesses. As a women-owned and operated agency, we are on a mission to empower local bridal shop owners to succeed and thrive. As an Account Strategist, you will be responsible for the overall client experience for accounts that you manage, while managing the timeline and quality of campaign deliverables. Your focus will be to work with the client as their main point of contact and coordinate deliverables with the team to ensure high-quality, on-time results for clients. We’re looking for someone who can bring all of the pieces together into a big picture strategy for our clients and maintain supportive, positive relationships with our clients. 

On a typical day, the Senior Strategist will work with clients to answer their questions, hold check-in meetings with clients, and communicate with internal and external teams on client deliverables. They will work closely with clients to build long-lasting relationships. They will provide additional client support when needed and make sure internal playbooks are being followed to produce client work. Purpose of the Business: Engaged Marketing Company is an SEO, Lead Generation, and Advertising agency dedicated to helping small and medium-sized local bridal business owners book more business and deliver immersive digital experiences for brides. 

Mission of the Position: The Account Strategist is the relationship manager for their clients and a big-picture strategy expert who can provide advice on upcoming promotions for clients and give direction to the larger team to set priorities in the campaign. We want to provide a seamless, personalized experience for clients by maintaining excellent communication and managing their campaigns to ensure deliverables meet our standards and follow the campaign timeline. 

Essential Duties 

  • Overseeing and validating the creation of strategies for any client funnel (lead funnel or advertising strategies).
  • Bi-weekly calls with leadership to go over optimization best practices and strategy support.
  • Monthly or semi-monthly client calls to go over results and discuss strategy. 
  • Stay up to date on the latest SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing trends and emerging opportunities. 
  • Audit and review bi-weekly reports from reporting software and communicate updates, recommendations, and results to clients/the team.
  • Helping to manage tasks and account updates in Basecamp. 
  • Staying on top of new techniques, strategies, and changes to test for better client results & campaign successes.
  • Coordinate in Slack and Basecamp with internal and external teams that are directly producing campaign deliverables. The goal here is to ensure on-time delivery and quality. 
  • Review content before sending to the client to ensure consistency and quality. 

 

Specific Position Responsibilities

  • Client Care:
    • Take on client calls for assigned accounts to facilitate their big picture strategy and own the client relationship.
    • Oversee the creation of strategies for client advertising campaigns and lead funnel systems. 
    • Stay updated and ahead of the trend of new techniques, strategies, and changes to test for better client results & campaign successes.
  • Operations:
    • Assist in managing tasks and account updates in Basecamp. 
    • Stepping in as needed to write content for clients, perform edits to drafted content, and review landing pages/ad campaigns for quality.
    • Review Google Business Profile changes and other campaign tasks against our SOPS and playbooks to make sure the tasks are done correctly. 
  • Monitoring, Analyzing, and Reporting: 
    • Audit and review bi-weekly reports from reporting software and communicate updates, recommendations, and results to the team
    • Stay up to date and have a good understanding of the latest iOS updates including, basic conversion API and pixel attribution knowledge
  • Team: 
    • Communicate with delivery teams in Slack and Basecamp for task updates and content review. 
    • Facilitate the delivery of content to the client. 
    • Bi-weekly calls with leadership to go over optimization best practices and strategy support.
  • Education, Experience, and Qualities
    • Ability to work at a fast pace with competing priorities
    • At least 2+ years of Facebook Ads Management experience and/or experience running SEO campaigns
    • A solid work ethic with the self-motivation needed to exceed expectations
    • Proven experience analyzing data
    • Quick learner with a think-on-your-feet attitude
    • A commitment to high standards, excellence, team, and our clients

Compensation and Benefits  

  • $40,000-$45,000 annually based on clients managed, with room to grow. 
  • Part-time role 
  • 1099 Contracted Position
