Here are five FREE marketing tips for your bridal shop! Spoiler alert: most of them involve social media!
1. Post daily to Instagram stories
Instagram stories are a simple way to get engagement from your followers — including past and future ones! When your followers see you posting daily, your brand will constantly be at the front of their mind. This makes them more likely to shop with you in the future! When posting to stories be sure to include fun engaging posts such as this or that, ask us a question, polls, and other fun engaging posts.
2. Post ALL of your events
Any time that you have an event, make sure that you list the event everywhere possible! This includes creating a Facebook event, listing it on your Google My Business profile, and posting it to the “events” section on your website.
If your event is partnering with another designer, reach out to them to see if they will provide some marketing for you! This could be as simple as them posting the event on their website.
Depending on the event, you could post it on other places too, such as your town’s website, the local newspaper or media websites, etc.
This will help you get your event out there to people who aren’t already following you!
3. Post weekly blogs
We know — blogging can seem tedious sometimes! And in the age of social media, it can be easy to feel like it isn’t important anymore. But it is!
Posting weekly blogs keeps your website active and engaged. Google will recognize this, trust us! It makes them more likely to suggest your website and pages to users.
Also, posting weekly content on your blog helps followers and customers trust you. They can see how knowledgeable you are about the products and services that you are selling!
If you aren’t able to commit to posting a blog each week at first, then we suggest starting out with two per month.
4. Post daily to TikTok
TikTok is more than just an app to post dancing to lip-syncing videos! It is so great for marketing. It shows customers that you are up-to-date on trends and it keeps your brand at the front of their mind!
Because TikTok is very trend-focused, we suggest posting at least one TikTok per day. This helps with views and engagement!
5. Post in-feed posts 3-4x per week
Finally, we suggest posting to your social media feeds (Instagram and Facebook) at least three times per week. This does not include reels!
This keeps your social media current. You don’t want customers coming to your page and seeing that you’ve only posted once or twice in the past few months!
If you are posting about your upcoming events, daily happenings around your store, and real bride images, then it is very easy to hit three or four posts in a week!

How can we talk about free marketing ideas without talking about your opt-in! Having a fun opt-in on your site is another great way to market your bridal shop. Although we often suggest running a small paid ad to your opt-in, we have several clients who do not and still generate over 100 leads a month!
