Align Your Employees with Your Marketing

Have you ever had great plans for your marketing but couldn’t seem to put them into place because you were overwhelmed with everything else on your plate? We understand! As a bridal shop owner, you have a lot on your plate, with things constantly needing your attention. However, that doesn’t mean that your marketing goals aren’t achievable! The key is to ask for support! Now, this may be hard to do, but you can make it much simpler by aligning everything your employees do with your marketing goals. Making these changes can help make your marketing a group effort seamlessly! Here are 4 ways to align your employees with your marketing!

How to Align Your Marketing Strategies, Engaged Marketing Company, Improve communication, Align employees with your marketing

1. Keep Employees Informed

First, your employees can’t help you if they don’t know what you have in mind! Try calling a monthly team meeting to discuss what your social media platforms should focus on so employees feel more confident in creating reels and other posts to help out. Another great way to do this is to post a marketing calendar in an area for your employees. This calendar can outline what sales, trunk shows, or other events are coming up and need to be featured.

2. Use Collaborative Planning

Another great way to take the cognitive work off your shoulders is to talk to your employees to create ideas to promote your shop. This process could be keeping an idea notebook along with your calendar or setting up a group chat. Encourage employees to share reels, example posts, or any other ideas in the group chat so when you need an idea for a post you already have a whole list to choose from! This can also make it easier for you to approve ideas before employees spend time making them.

3. Set Clear Responsibilities

Don’t be afraid to give some marketing responsibilities to your employees! Oftentimes these girls are great at knowing what dresses brides are loving and can easily put together a reel showing it off. Try talking to your team to set responsibilities such as posting one story a day or making two reels a week during shifts so everyone is involved in making content. Showing your employee’s faces can also help humanize your brand.

4. Prioritize Internal Marketing

Although it may seem small, word of mouth is still one of the best marketing tools there is! Be sure to prioritize making all of your team members feel welcome and heard because they are your best marketing tools! Whether it’s being the first person your bride sees when walking in the door or sharing your shop’s posts to their own social media, how your employees view your brand will tell brides a lot about the company so make sure it’s a good impression!
