Have you been posting consistently on your social medias, but still feel like your content is getting lost? With social media platforms growing so quickly and tons of content being uploaded, it can be hard to stand out on social media. The best way to stand out, however, is to be yourself and be unique! Here are a few ideas that you can make your own!
1. Show Different Kinds of Brides
Often times, brides can feel intimidated by the idea of not living up to their dream wedding or simply not feeling like a bride on their big day. A great way to stand out on social medias and help brides feel more comfortable in your shop is to showcase different kinds of brides on your page. This means all body types, skin colors, and all types of couples! Making brides feel not only safe in your shop but celebrated is a wonderful thing!
2. Anniversary Posts
Once a bride gets married, who says you can’t continue the relationship? In fact, this can help your business with reviews or with the bride recommending your shop to their friends/family! Continuing this relationship can look like a number of things, but one of our favorites is to have anniversary posts! Reposting a bride’s wedding photos on their anniversary will make them feel valued and let them relive the experience of buying/wearing their dress!
3. Engage with Brides!
Engaging with brides on social media before or after they come into your shop will not only help with your Instagram engagement, but also add personality to your brand! This engagement could be a congratulations comment on their engagement photos or just likes on their recent posts!
4. Don’t Forget About Prom and Grooms!
With so much focus on the bride- and there should be focus on the bride!- sometimes prom dresses and tuxes can be seen as not as important to your brand. Everyone who comes into your shop should feel valued and that your brand wants to show them off! Be sure to repost prom/groomsmen pictures or have different social media accounts for these!
5. Educate Your Brides
Sometimes the things that you may think are simple can be an area of uncertainty for your brides. Offering your knowledge on things such as how to pick your veils or tips for handling a long train can help create savable content for your social medias!
6. Share Relatable/Fun Content
Shopping for your wedding dress should be a fun experience! Show your brides that your brand encourages groups to come in to have fun and that your staff loves it too! These silly and fun times can also make for great reels!
7. Appreciate Your Brides
We’ve talked about engaging with brides and reposting their wedding photos, but be sure to not just use their pictures to sell your own dresses! Appreciation posts and comments can go a long way to building trust and emotional loyalty to your brand!
